ABOUT

Bo Gabriel

The therapeutic relationship allows for awareness, healing, and growth. Utilizing empathy, humor, and gentle confrontation, I offer a safe space for clients to cope with painful times, challenging relationships, and issues with self. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety, relationship, identity, artistic, and grief/loss issues.

With a background in the arts, I work creatively and understand the unique issues which arise from life as an artist. My approach is relational, informed by Gestalt, psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) principles. I am also trained in and provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and sensitive to issues related to gender, race, ethnicity, ability, spirituality, privilege, and socioeconomic status.

Successful therapy is often hard work, and your willingness to engage in the process deserves appreciation. I look forward to starting the process with you.
